Re: Britain In Focus – Image Use Request

There are sites where you can’t share or copy the images without permission, Flickr will be one of them soon, each member will decide on their photo’s: no one knows yet how each persons account will look. Copyright is always associated with photo’s but different ways. Make sure by asking.

Britain in Focus have kindly allowed me to show how image sites can protect photo’s. They agreed after an email request for a copy of their page and link to appear on this blog to illustrate how not being able to pin or use photo’s should look.

Hi Sue,

Thank you for your messages and your interest in my website. Yes, it will be
fine to use the information as you have suggested on your two blogs.

Kind regards,

Google+1 info

This info will find its way to a google+1 page on this blog…soon…
the rss jungle…

It takes discipline to keep rss feeds tidy, maybe accounts with different places for different focus??

Changing personal social media

To begin with, Facebook and Twitter were good places to have all my techi site information updates, other people just use them to communicate, but i wanted info while everything was setup:- it would be cool to perhaps have more than one facebook account to keep company info and personal separate: using pages isnt quite enough. Now however there are alternative options on the android, whether these apps work on the pc i
dont know till they have been researched.

Over the last year however lots of apps have appeared that will solve the information flow ‘problem’ keep the tweets going by all means because they fly into sony ericssons timescape app (what do other phones use?) but use Feedly and Pulse apps for all kinds of updated info, Taptu is really good too, but it doesnt save to the sd card yet.

These two apps are awsome, and with dolphin browser you can also have your google rss feeds on their side toolbar, and you can share stuff to other apps or blogs etc.

Sadly there isn’t a Pinterest app yet, but you can find and add their mobile site to your speed dial on dolphin browser.

Dolphin is cool if not quite as fast, as there are lots of data clearing options on settings, and on exiting the app.

Consequently my Facebook is more how it should be, the tech news is flying into the news apps and twitter is reminding me.

For academics Emerald Insight is still the most respected info source.

The next os system will be along soon..

The os systems for android have been named after sweets…gingerbread, honeycomb, ice cream sandwich…now …

We knew after ice cream sandwich that the most obvious was…

A flavour

These few posts give a flavour of how the info flows around with Facebook and Twitter links to sites in the know…if you want to stay up to date you can follow them.  From now info has to be deciphered and credited rather than just linked.
